A beady eye – My Sunday Photo 110617

I went to Crocodiles of the World on Friday with my photography class.  I’d been a couple of years ago with my son and it’s well worth a visit.  This time round the focus, quite literally was on getting some half way decent shots, factoring in lighting and reflections through glass.  I could have done with using my tripod really as I was using my longer lens.  Lesson for the future.  But anyway, I was looking through my shots when I got home and this one just jumped out at me.

Yes the reflection isn’t perfectly clear, but I love the shot. From the shine on the croc’s eye to the mystery of what creature it could actually be.  It’s my shot of the day for sure, well of the crocodiles anyway.  What do you think?

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with a 7 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. 1. It’s a really scary looking eye! I keep meaning to take my kids to Crocodiles of the World. We’ve never been, but I know my eldest would love it.

  2. Hah! It literally made me jump when your post came up on screen. Such a fabulous photo, it’s perfect. I’d have been thrilled with that one too. #MySundayPhoto
