Biscuits with an American flavour – AD sent for review

disclosure:  we were sent these biscuits for the purpose of review

Now you can’t beat a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit for a little snack can you.  So when I heard that Fox’s Biscuit’s were introducing a range of biscuits with an American flavour to them I was eager to give them a try.  Daft not to, right? Biscuits with an American flavour

Vinnie – Fox’s Biscuit’s American Correspondent kindly sent me some of their stateside inspired treats to try.  Sometimes I have such a tough time – really tough!  How was I going to decide what to try first?

Key Lime Pie Crunch Creams – crunchy golden biscuits filled with tangy, zesty key lime pie flavour cream. Vinnie’s first stop for inspiration had been the Florida Keys.

Mississippi Mud Pie Melts – luxurious buttery biscuits filled with rich, gooey, chocolatey Mississippi mud pie flavour cream.

Blueberry Muffin Party Rings – Party Ring biscuits topped with a delicious blueberry muffin flavour icing.  I need to visit Minnesota – the blueberry muffin is the official state muffin there!

Cherry Cheesecake Jam ‘n Cream – cherry jam sandwiched between buttery digestive biscuits. Vinnie’s inspiration being the cherry growing state of California.

Obviously, the only plan of action open to me was to try a few of the assortment in one go – right? Biscuits with an American flavour…

My favourite was definitely the Mississippi Mud Pie Melts, yum, yum, yum – hence the need for a double taste test!

My son decided to try the Blueberry Muffin Party Rings first (I am rather partial to these too) they do taste just like the muffins, a bit sweet but they’re small and rather yummy too.

When we went on our train trip to the Ashmolean Museum last week with his friends I took the rest of these Blueberry Muffin Party Rings with us.  Everyone loved these biscuits with an American flavour.

Next up – Cherry Cheesecake Jam ‘n Cream – my son and Daddy P are both big fans of these.  Needless to say the packets we received didn’t last long.

I have to be frank – I wasn’t really looking forward to trying the Key Lime Pie Crunch Creams – I’m not a huge citrus fan, but I do like Fox’s Crunch Creams.

They weren’t for me, but Daddy P loved them so he’s quite happily taken them to work and I’m sure he’ll munch his way through the packet very quickly.

We’ve really enjoyed trying these biscuits with an American flavour from Fox’s Biscuits. If you’d like to find out more from their American correspondent Vinnie, you can catch him on Facebook.
