Tractor Ted Farm show – Sunday 9th June 2013

Tractor Ted Farm showWe are really excited to be working with Tractor Ted at the moment.  Monkey absolutely loves Tractor Ted, who teaches children about farms; the machinery, animals, produce and seasons.  Children learn in a fun, but very factual way and he has become a big hit here, with my tractor and big machinery obsessed son!

We wanted to let you know about their forthcoming Farm show which also incorporates the Bowood Charity Dog Show & Summer Fair – it’s held on Sunday 9th June 2013, at Bowood House, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN11 0LZ from 10am – 5pm.  For Sat Nav use SN11 9NF.

Tractor Ted Farm show

It’s going to be an action-packed day with lots of fun for all the family.  Here is a taster of some of the things you can see when you visit:

Tractor Ted’s Little Farm – see the farm animals, experience milking time, sheep shearing, hear about bee keeping, enjoy a pony ride and watch the pigs racing.  If that’s not enough, you will also be able to buy local produce and country crafts.

Tractor Ted’s Puncture Repair Centre – you will have the opportunity to watch large farm machines have their tyres repaired and re-fitted.  I’m sure this is going to be a favourite with Monkey!

Tractor Ted’s Digger Spectacular – Digger Dave and friend and their JCB diggers will be entertaining everyone with 2 displays in the main ring – this will be a MUST for us.

Tractor Ted’s Baling – Les, Tractor Ted’s driver will be showing us how his tractor skills and will be available to say hello to all his fans.

Tractor Ted’s Giant Combine Harvester Event – Watch the Claas Combine Harvester in the show ring twice during the day.

  1. This sounds like a great day out! I bet your little monkey will enjoy that loads! unfortunately we can’t make that weekend either, but I will out for this kind of thing in the future, it sounds cool 😀

  2. Sounds like a wonderful day, if it had been the Sunday after we would have come along as we are up that way. Hope you all have lots of fun and look forward to hearing all about it.

  3. It’s a bit far for us and we’ve already got plans that day, but I am (and I expect N would be too) so jealous you’re working with Tractor Ted. N is obsessed, and knows his 4 dvds off pat, insisting on choosing which one he watches. You’d think he’d just go out with his dad on the farm, but no, has to watch the dvds. Hoping to make one of the normal farm shows this year with him, but that one sounds perfect for him.

    1. Monkey is the same with his Big Machines DVD – he would have it on permanent replay! But he has learnt so much from it, I’ve been really impressed by the educational quality and am thrilled that we can work with them. One happy family 🙂

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
