RSPB Campaign - Big Wild Sleepout

RSPB Campaign – Big Wild Sleepout

RSPBFancy trying something different with the kids over the summer holidays?  The RSPB are running the Big Wild Sleepout from 9th-11th August 2013.

The RSPB is encouraging us to spend a night out under the stars – be it in our own back gardens or at an organised sleepout event.  If you fancy joining in you can even ask your friends and family to sponsor you – details are here.

Imagine if you settled down and heard an owl calling, a fox barking or peaked out of your tent and saw a bat feeding overhead in the fading light.  Or even, finally saw that elusive hedgehog that you’ve long suspected calls your garden home.

With the heatwave we are currently experiencing set to stay for a while this could be a really enjoyable experience and a great adventure for children.  The RSPB is keen for people to share their experiences on their Facebook and Twitter pages and on Instagram using #BigWildSleepout
