I love Ryvita! I’ve loved the Original Ryvita crispbreads since I was a child, my Mum was a big fan, and we often had Ryvita at snack time. I am still addicted to Marmite with my Ryvita. Actually, I quite like eating them with nothing on them at all! I don’t share – ooops.
I’ve been lucky enough to receive a Ryvita selection recently which has introduced me to some new variations.
Along with my old favourite – Original Ryvita, I received a box of Ryvita Fruit Crunch and Ryvita Thins – Sun-dried Tomato and Herb. Yum Yum!
I decided that this would be an ideal time to introduce my 3 and half-year-old son to Ryvita and thought the Thins would be a really good option. He loves having dips for lunch with veg of all description, so today I decided we’d use the Thins instead of breadsticks.
I served the flatbread crunchy Thins with houmous, guacamole, cucumber, radish, cherry tomatoes and peppers – I’m already a big fan, but what did my little man think?
He polished off the lot, merrily dipping them in his houmous – a big hit with the young man 🙂
The Fruit Crunch are slightly different to the Original crispbread – these are sweet rather than savoury. They contain currants and there is a hint of honey when you take a bite. I like them. We’re going to have them for pudding tonight as an alternative to a wafer with our vanilla ice cream and freshly grown and picked strawberries.
I love Ryvita and we eat a lot of it at our house. I’m not so keen on the fruit crunch, but 2 of my boys love it and view it as a treatwhen I let them snack on it 🙂
The Fruit Crunch is growing on me, but I do love the Original, I could eat that all day long!
Love the multi seeded thins. Will have to keep an eye out for the tomato and herb ones!!
Can recommend them – very moreish!
