Halloween with Hobbycraft

Halloween with Hobbycraft – AD sent for review

disclosure:  we were sent these items for the purpose of review

I’m trying to be really organised this year with Halloween.  My son, at just under 4 years, seems more aware of it all now.  He loved my pumpkin carving attempt last year but didn’t really understand why Mummy was doing it.  This year, we’re away until just before Halloween so I need to get everything ready in advance. So I needed some help and I decided to have Halloween with Hobbycraft – a store I love.  It’s a great place to pick up craft items for him but also as a cross stitcher (not so much at the moment – note to self: My son’s Christmas stocking WILL NOT finish itself) I’ve spent many an hour perusing the shelves for ideas.

So look what I’ve come up with this year for Halloween with Hobbycraft…

I picked a variety of Halloween items including The Boo Crew Masks, Spider Glitter Cutouts and Stretchy Spiders and Bugs.  I intend to hang the Glitter Cut-Outs all over the Kitchen and Living Room on Halloween, have Monkey and I wear the Boo Crew Masks and have fun scaring visitors with our sinister minibeasts!  You know us, mini beasts have to make an appearance in some form or another.

As you can see in the photo’s above I’ve also been making Spooky Fruit and using these Halloween accessories to brighten up my display.

Earlier in the week, I did a bit of Halloween baking, and this is how I intend to display my ghoulish wares on the big day.

Hopefully, the ghosts and ghouls will appreciate the feast we have in store for them – trick or treat?

So what do you think of my Halloween with Hobbycraft selection?  What will you be decorating your house with this Halloween?

I have to say, that I was spoilt for choice and I’m really pleased with my selection.  Watch this space for pictures of us in our masks on the night itself!

Top tip:  Hobbycraft has a 3 for 2 offer for these items at the moment!

  1. Very spooky! We don’t really do halloween in our house but E is becoming more and more aware of it every year so it is nice to do a few bits like this at home for him.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
