LOGO The Best of TV & Movies – games giveaway

Drumond Park logo HRI’ve got a great competition for you today – a game that will be perfect for the families with older children to play. Welcome to LOGO The Best of TV & Movies by Drumond Park.

LOGO The Best of TV & MoviesLOGO The Best of TV & Movies was launched this time last year.  It’s a great game for those aged 12 years and over, and works really well when played in teams.  But you can still play individually too for those with a competitive streak!

There’s something for everyone in this fast paced, picture card game with the familiar LOGO-style playing board.  Whether it be questions on TV dramas such as Downton Abbey, reality shows like Strictly Come Dancing or films like Shrek, you’re sure to have fun with LOGO The Best of TV & Movies, with questions covering the last 40 years.

As with the previous LOGO games, the question cards come in three categories – Picture Cards, Theme Cards and Pot Luck Cards.  And in keeping with all the games in the LOGO family, gameplay is straightforward.

The players are split into two teams.  Someone from the non-playing team is designated as Question Master.  He or she takes a card and asks the members of the opposing team each of the four colour coded (orange, magenta, blue, green) questions on the card.  For every correct answer, their playing piece is moved forward to the next space on the board that matches the question colour.  If they’re stumped, the question goes to the QM’s own team, who win a bonus move to the next matching space, if they get the question right. Everyone’s making for the Winning Zone – and once there, the first team to correctly answer either two consecutive questions or one green question WINS!

To make things especially exciting, Drumond Park has also introduced Mute Button, Change the Channel and Fast Forward cards, which teams can choose to play at any point in the game.  Strategically, they can be highly useful – but once they’re gone, they’re gone!

LOGO The Best of TV & Movies has an RRP of £29.99.

There is also a super MINI Game version with a RRP of £4.99.  To find out more about these games and others visit Drumond Park.

  1. My favourite movie is probably Goodfellas …. or Love, Actually …. two very different movies but I love them both!! x

  2. I watched titanic the first time with my mother at the cinema, and was upset when she cried buckets .. more upsetting than the film, I think.
I watched titanic again, with my daughter, and this time it was me who cried like Gazza!
I wonder if my daughter will watch it with her daughter?
Anyhow, I like Titanic .. but, it takes it out of you .. feel drained afterwards!

  3. That’s a tough choice, I have so many favourite films! But if I had to choose only one it would probably be… Never Been Kissed!

  4. Oh my gosh, hard HARD question! I have to say Dumb and Dumber; Jim Carrey has been my hero forever and I know all the words, I’ve watched it that many times

  5. It’s a Wonderful Life- starring James Stewart, a real classic, can be watched all year round, and never ages

  6. I feel like I should be claiming some highbrow, thoughtful film as my favourite but instead I’m telling the truth. Shaun of the Dead.

  7. its got to be elf, when santas sleigh goes over the elfs dad, we keep rewinding it and we all laugh so much, its funny and magical xx

  9. My favourite film is the New Zealand film Once were Warriors but on a more lighthearted note I love the Indiana Jones films for pure fun and escapism

  10. The Black Stallion. When I was about 9 I went to the cinema with a friend to watch Tootsie, and The Black Stallion was shown first. It was beautiful and heart wrenching and at the exciting finale I remember the entire cinema cheering on ‘The Black’ and ending in tumultuous applause. It was the first time I had experienced this sort of reaction and feeling of being part of a crowd of supporters! Amazing!

  11. I can’t choose just one. My childhood favourite was definitely Willow. Modern era I would say the Lord of the Rings Trilogy

  12. santa clause the movie not very often I cam watch a film more than once but watch this every christmas x

  13. an impossible to answer question lol…every movie I watch and enjoy is my favourite movie until the next one! I think it has to be Save The Last Dance at the minute!
