Heroes of the City app

Heroes of the City App – app review and product giveaway

Heroes of the City appWe’ve recently been introduced to the Heroes of the City app. The app and series is aimed at children aged from 3-7 years, so perfect for Monkey who’s just turned 4. We started by trying the great Heroes of the City AppMovie app, which is available through the Apple App Store and Google Player – and it’s free!  It also available with a number of different language options.

This app is great – Monkey fell in love with the various vehicle characters such as Paulie the Police Car, Fiona the Fire Engine and Troy the Tractor.  We also get to meet poor old Calamity Crow, a very accident prone bird – Monkey laughs at his misfortune all the time.

Heroes of the City appThere are a number of approx 14 minute episodes of Heroes of the City to watch in the Movies section!  Monkey helps himself to my phone and will happily sit and watch an episode, while I’m doing chores in the kitchen.  There are over 6 hours worth of programmes to watch.  He was even watching videos on the Heroes of the City app, before his friends arrived for his Pirate Birthday Party last Friday.

There are also 9 games to play, our favourite involved building tracks for the train.

Heroes of the City appIf all of that isn’t enough then there is a Trophy Cabinet, collect your trophiesin three different colours to unlock some rewards.  We haven’t got very far with this yet, but sounds like fun.  There are also in-app purchase opportunities to add to the fun.

When a Heroes of the City package arrived for Monkey yesterday while he was at Nursery, I just knew he’d be thrilled, especially as these items aren’t available in the UK just yet!

Heroes of the City appThe Heroes of the City range includes books, Activity and Colouring books, Die-cast vehicles and DVD’s.  It didn’t take Monkey long to start playing with his new friends – Paulie and Troy and we’ve watched the Heroes of the City DVD twice already!

Thanks to Heroes of the City I have one very happy boy, who’s being well entertained and learning that friends always work together to solve problems.  I’ve been really impressed with this range.

disclaimer:  we were given access to the full app and sent items shown for the purpose of review, our comments however, remain our own honest opinions.

  1. Amanda Ambulance. She would take the injured to hospital. Whilst Toby Train would happily take people on their journeys.
Will look out for this brand, now that you have introduced me to it.

  2. What would be your ‘Hero vehicle’……….Terry Trolley – for flying around the supermarket lol

  3. Chitty Chitty bang bang – have watched that movie over and over, and as a child dreamt that I could go in a car like that.

  4. Mine would be concorde so I could get everywhere quickly. Or maybe the Tardis as it doubles up as a home.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
