Team Honk Oxford

Team Honk Oxford #teamhonkrelay

The Blogging Community is pulling together once again this year as Team Honk to raise money for Sport Relief.  This year’s challenge began at Lands End on 12th January, a baton is being passed through 38 teams, finishing at John O’Groats on 23rd March.  With over 200 bloggers taking part this year, the aim is to raise over £20,000.00 as the relay zigzags across the country.

The Team Honk baton will arrive in Oxford late on Friday 7th February from Team Honk Reading. Why not come along on Saturday 8th February at 9am to cheer on Rob as he runs from the Radcliffe Camera to Eynsham.

Team Honk OxfordThe baton will then be passed to Katie from Randomnest and fellow team mates, non-bloggers Kelly, Jayne, Kath (not in our photo) and Frankie who will then cycle from The Talbot Hotel in Eynsham to Chipping Sodbury. Early afternoon on 9th February, Team Honk Oxford will pass on the baton to Bristol Team Honker Rachel from Mummy Glitzer at the Cross Hands Hotel in Chipping Sodbury.

It has to be said, that although Rob has run some half marathon’s before, Katie and her friends are not used to cycling long distances.  They are rather mad, but committed to help the cause.

Monkey and I don’t own bikes, but we’ll be in Eynsham to cheer in Rob, and cheer off Katie and her team with Monkey’s Micro Scooter!

Katie would really love the people of Oxfordshire to support Team Honk Oxford as they complete virtually 60 miles as part of this mammoth relay.  Come and cheer them on, sponsor them and help us to raise as much money as possible for Sport Relief.

We’d love you to sponsor Team Honk Oxford – it’s so easy, just click here or you can just Text HONK to 70005 to donate £5 to Sport Relief.  These guys will be exhausted by the time their leg is finished – please make it worth their while!
