Joining in with TheBoyAndMe and her linky 365 Project A Photo A Day, Every Day, For A Year! Project 365 – Week 5 – Days 26 – 32.
Sunday – Day 26
I’d spotted a post on Ice Sun Catchers the week before on Country Kids and we picked a few things up when we went for our woodland walk. We froze our finds in some silicone cooking moulds, and on Sunday we hung them out in the garden – no sun!
Monday – Day 27
Daddy P and I were rather stressed, he discovered a problem in our loft on Sunday evening and then there was an issue at work on Monday. The only person chilling in our house on Monday was Brewster!
Tuesday – Day 28
Tuesday was a games afternoon, Monkey was given Hungry Hippos for Christmas, he loves it. A classic game, but I’m sure you used to be able to pack it up as one unit. It’s practically impossible to get it all in the box now – not everything improves with age it seems!
Wednesday – Day 29
Finally getting round to trying to sell the travel system – our baby days are behind us.
Thursday – Day 30
After Nursery School, and lunch Monkey and I drove to Witney to The Pottery Place to make something for Granny’s 7oth birthday. Monkey did really well, so we decided we deserved a treat. He’s coped with me being a stressed out wreck all week, especially when my PC died and I can’t access any photos or our family tree now. We did share the muffin!
Friday – Day 31
Time for some crafting for Valentines Day. Monkey decided that 3 lucky ladies will be receiving Valentines Day cards from him this year – I wasn’t to be one of them, apparently!
Saturday – Day 32
We both felt a bit under the weather this morning, so after a lazy start to the day, we decided a bit of fresh air would do us good. Armed with some bread we made our way to our loca duck pond. Monkey couldn’t wait to spot some ducks in the sunshine.
Shame about the lack of sun those ice catchers are such a great idea as well! Wonder who is luck valentines are?
I don’t think Monkey cared about the lack of sun really, he was fascinated watching them melt
Looks like a productive week, hope your stress levels are coming back down now? Lovely photos x
Lot going on at the moment, hopefully luck will change in February!
Love the valentines cards – some lucky girls out there! #project365
He does make me laugh – he knew exactly who had to have them!
Phase, I love how the cat is the only stress free one in the house, aren’t they always lol
*please
He is always so chillen unless I’ve forgotten dinner time!
You have had a super busy week, I love Brewster chilling x
He is like that most of the time!
Lovely photos, I loved Hungry Hippo’s when I was a kid, definitely a classic!
Thanks – it’s a great game isn’t it
Lovely photos – and the muffin looks delicious 🙂
They were good!
Sorry it was so stressful last weekend! I hope you and monkey are feeling a bit better now too! x
You know when life just dumps on you? That’s where we are at right now – never mind.
awww honey i do hope the issue in the loft is not going to be too bad! how sad your selling your travel system i am clinging to mine for dear life
Someone is coming out next week to look at it – aargh! no sense of urgency.
Lovely photos – hope next week is not stressful. I love the ice catchers
Thanks so do I
hope this week is less stressful for you. our frustration game needs assembly/disassembly to go in the box, as you say not always an improvement. Our ducks on our pond never come across any more, they get fed too often and are not really interested but I hope yours came over and got fed
The ducks werre very hungry! They followed us all around the pond.
Your cat is adorable – hope you got the issues fixed. It is always sad to see the pram go isn’t it…….a few years to go for us but I shall look forward to having the room back
Someone os coming to look at the loft next week, so hopefully one issue will be sorted soon
Hope you sorted out the pc problem – that does sound very stressful. Are the valentine’s for school friends?
No – I need a new one, which we can’t afford so I’m just keeping the spare room door shut so I don’t think about it too much! No, not school friends, all for the older generation!!!
Oooh I want to reach into the photo and tickle Brewster’s tum!
I’d never seen a cat sleep like that, but he does all the time!
gosh a busy week, did you manage to sell your travel system? We’re doing the same at present x
No luck yet, going to try Ebay. Don’t want to ‘givei it away as the chassis is a brand new replacement
The ice sun catchers are a fab idea
Great aren’t they
Brewster looks very chilled there! lol, cats eh!
Make you laugh don’t they!
Love the sun catcher idea. Must be sad getting rid of the last bits of your baby days!
It’s the last thing to go really, apart from a few clothes that haven’t sold at a NNS. Got to make room somewhere for more ‘stuff’!
Awww explain to Monkey how a mother’s love is the one true love lol
I do, constantly!!
It’s a heartwrenching moment when you start getting rid of the baby stuff, isn’t it? Fabulous sun-catchers.
Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
Yes, this is the final big thing to go, if it ever sells!
I hope you get your PC sorted. I think we’re all guilty of not backing up often enough. I know I’m not – I keep putting it off!
I hope Monkey’s ladies like their valentines. 🙂
Sadly we need a new one, which isn’t at the top of the budget list so will have to stay broken,
Hope this week has been less stressful x Must make some ice sun catchers 🙂
It has been a bit easier, thanks. Still an underlying issue but just got to get on with life 🙂
