I love books that I can relate to our own experiences as it really helps them come alive. Today is one of those instances. Blog Birthday Review and Giveaway – Busy Books. We’ve been sent a copy of Busy Airport to review, it is part of a series of 9 Busy books which also feature the Park, Beach, Builders, Garage, Garden, Playtime, Railway and Town. As part of Campbell Book’s 10th Anniversary celebrations, this series has been freshened up and re-released.
We’re off to Spain at the end of the month to celebrate Granny’s 70th birthday. Monkey has already started packing for the journey (I joke not!) and Busy Airport has got him talking about our trip. He’s been on a plane a few times now and loves the whole airport experience.
Busy Airport is a brightly coloured board book with 4 double page interactive airport scenes. The illustrations are be Rebecca Finn and they bring the airport to life. There is lots happening on every page.
We pushed the suitcases around the carousel and watched them being loaded onto the aeroplane. As well as the bold text of the book, on each page there is a question to be answered. Great for discussion and observation. Monkey has loved looking at this book, I have a feeling it will end up in his back pack at Birmingham Airport soon.
Priced at £4.99 Busy Airport is a bargain, and I can imagine that the rest of the range are great too.
I’m really happy to be able to offer one lucky reader the chance to win the WHOLE SET of Busy Books! Complete the rafflecopter below to enter – good luck!
