Horrid Henry's Sleepover

Horrid Henry’s Sleepover – a book review

Horrid Henry's SleepoverI have a Horrid Henry giveaway running at the moment, and now we have had the chance to review one of the prizes – Horrid Henry’s Sleepover.

Horrid Henry’s Sleepover is an Early Reader from Orion Books, written by Francesca Simon.  As regular readers of this blog will know, we’ve been reviewing the Early Reader range from Orion Books for a while now.  Although 4 year old Monkey is not reading by himself yet, he loves these books.  He can easily sit and listen as I read these stories to him.  Horrid Henry’s Sleepover is no different, he sat enthralled for the entire 74 pages of this cheeky story.

The illustrations from Tony Ross bring Horrid Henry’s antics to life.  As usual he is up to no good, he loves going on sleepover’s, but funnily enough, he only ever gets invited once.  As you would expect he causes chaos wherever he goes and his poor parents are dragged out in the early hours to take him home in disgrace.

Horrid Henry's SleepoverImagine Horrid Henry’s delight when New Nick, the new boy in school invites him for a Sleepover!  But could Henry have finally met his match?

Any Horrid Henry fan is going to love this book, Monkey was giggling throughout.  Priced at £4.99 I can really recommend Horrid Henry’s Sleepover to any little bookworm out there.
