Fireman Sam Start the Siren!

Fireman Sam Start the Siren! – a book review

Monkey has many heroes at the moment, one is most certainly Fireman Sam.  We have watched The Great Fire of Pontypandy more times than I care to remember!  So I knew he’d be super excited to receive the newly published Fireman Sam Start the Siren! sound book from Egmont UK.

Fireman Sam Start the Siren!

Fireman Sam Start the Siren! is a lovely board sound book aimed at children over 2 years old.  Monkey is still obsessed with making as much noise as possible, so a sound book always goes down well.

In this 12 page board book we follow Fireman Sam and his sidekick Fire Fighter Elvis Cridlington (my personal favourite) and their trusty set of wheels – Jupiter the Fire Engine.

In this story Lion the cat is causing chaos, she’s gone missing and it’s up to Monkey’s hero to save the day!  Every few pages you see Nee nah! Nee nah! in bold text as a prompt for your child to press the sound button.  I can assure you that Monkey needed to prompts! We’ve had a lot of button pressing.

Fireman Sam Start the Siren!

There’s always a good bit of fun and adventure with any Fireman Sam story and this one is no different.  But as always, there’s a happy ending.

At £6.99 we can recommend Fireman Sam Start the Siren! to any fan, it will be much loved.

  1. We had a couple of these noisy type books and they are great for getting kids involved in stoies before they can read properly. Just not good after lights out!!
