Project 365 - Week 23

Project 365 – Week 23

Joining in with TheBoyAndMe and her linky 365 Project  A Photo A Day, Every Day, For A Year!  Project 365 – Week 23 Days 152-158.

Sunday 1st June – Day 152

Project 365 - Week 23We used our National Trust membership to make another visit to Stowe Gardens, this time with Daddy P.  We went on a tree leaf hunt with an identification sheet so we could press leaves for a nature book.  I actually remembered to get Daddy P to take a photo of me and Monkey together.  We ended a great day by seeing ourselves on BBC Countryfile!

Monday 2nd June – Day 153

Project 365 - Week 23

Inset day here, we had fun taking part in the #bahlsenbakeoff challenge, I took video but forgot to take photos of the action.  We made this scrummy Chocolate Mousse crunch. Daddy P had the day off, so rather than go to Monkey’s swimming lesson in the afternoon we went for a family swim in the morning.

Tuesday 3rd June – Day 154

Project 365 - Week 23

Monkey had Nursery School in the morning and I caught up with some chores.  He was thrilled to meet his new buddy Maya the Bee after school – firm friends already!

Wednesday 4th June – Day 155

Project 365 - Week 23

Monkey had a busy afternoon playing with a new train set we’d been sent to review.  He then helped me to make pizza from scratch for the first time.  It was scrummy!

Thursday 5th June – Day 156

Project 365 - Week 23

Monkey went to Nursery School for the whole day today for the first time.  Packed lunch made and off he went.  It was so quiet without him, but I got some work done on the blog which made me feel happier.  Unfortunately when I got Monkey home he’d had an accident of the poop variety (his first ever) which no-one had spotted.  Put a bit of a downer on an otherwise good day.  Will talk to school again on Monday, as I’d already mentioned that I didn’t think he’d ever used their toilets.

Friday 6th June – Day 157

Project 365 - Week 23

We were lucky enough to be asked to review Legoland Windsor for SuperBreak today, and how lucky were we with the weather!!  We had a wonderful day and spent the last hour in Splash Valley. Monkey loved it, especially when Mummy got drenched!  It was wonderful to see him running around without me once he’d been there a while.

Saturday 7th June – Day 158

Project 365 - Week 23

Monkey was singing Happy Birthday to The Gruffalo this morning at breakfast time – it was so funny.  Monkey was really pleased that The Gruffalo shares the same birthday as his ‘Auntie Sheba’.  It’s pouring with rain here, what a difference 24 hours makes.  We’re off to a local farm to meet some friends this afternoon – wellies and waterproofs on!
