Baby Bunny's First Adventures

Baby Bunny’s First Adventures – a book review

I’m always on the look out for new books to introduce Monkey too.  When I heard about a newly released title from the publishers Austin Macauley, I was eager to find out more. Let me introduce you to Baby Bunny’s First Adventures by A M Thwaite.

Baby Bunny's First Adventures

Baby Bunny’s First Adventures is a paperback booked aimed at children aged 3-7 years of age.  We get to meet Baby Bunny – Emmy and join her on her adventures.

We received this book awhile ago now.  It’s taken some time to read; it’s very wordy, and actually I’m a little surprised by the age bracket it’s intended for.

Baby Bunny's First Adventures

Baby Bunny’s First Adventures is 49 pages long, and is definitely the most wordy book a 4 and half year old Monkey has received.  The book is made up of 6 different stories.

He’s very good at listening to a number of Early Reader books in one go that we have, but we’ve had to read this book in much smaller chunks to keep his interest.  The sentences are much longer than anything we’ve previously tackled.  I do wonder how a 3-year-old would react to be totally honest.

But that said, for an older child, Baby Bunny’s First Adventures provides 6 lovely tales showing the adventures Emmy has, the new friends that she makes and the lessons that she learns.   The stories are lovely, and I’m sure when Monkey is a bit older they will hold his interest more.

Baby Bunny’s First Adventures is available from Amazon and other retailers for £6.99

disclaimer:  we were sent this book in exchange for an honest review.
