Eating in thanks to Takeaway.com

We were recently asked if we’d like to try the online takeaway delivery service offered by Takeaway.com.  It sounded like the perfect solution after a long day of fun at Warwick Castle recently, so I sat down at the laptop.  Mummy, what are you doing?  I’m hungry, cried Monkey!  We are going to be eating in thanks to Takeaway.com, and I won’t have to even turn the oven on.

It’s really easy to use the website at Takeaway.com, you just type in your postcode and up pop the restaurants that work with them.  The only downside for us was that there were only 3 options for our town.  As we had a voucher code to use for the review, we were actually limited to one 1 option that accepted card payments.  But it happened to be a pizza house, so Monkey was very happy with that idea.

When you click on a specific restaurant you can see their opening times, minimum order and method of payments accepted.  The ordering system was easy to follow, we could add extras and add comments if needed. Once the order was placed we were advised that food would be received within a certain timeframe – you could also specify a delivery time.

Our delivery arrived well within the timeframe we’d been given, the delivery guy was really friendly and the food was lovely and hot.

We enjoyed eating in thanks to Takeaway.com.  We’ve been introduced to a Pizza House that we haven’t tried before and I’m sure we will use the service again.  The other two restaurants listed in our area are both Indian’s we haven’t tried, so for a cash on delivery option they will be worth investigating too.

disclaimer:  we were given a food voucher to enable us to try this service in exchange for an honest review

  1. That pizza looks lovely. We live in such a remote area not many of the takeaways are linked to Takeaway.com as yet.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
