Week 25 of PODcast‘s linky The Alphabet Photography Project. I can’t believe we are nearly at the end of this project – it’s been so much fun. For a number of reasons my The Alphabet Photography Project Y is for Yellow.
I love sunflowers and for the last couple of years we’ve had a sunflower growing competition between the three of us. Each year Monkey has won – he loves that fact. This year I was able to capture his sunflower as it opened up over 4 days.
Whenever I look at this collage I feel warmth and the glow of the summer sun – much-needed on a day like today.
The Alphabet Photography Project Y is for Yellow of sunflowers and for remembering that not every day is dull, wet and cold.
Where my parents live they see fields of sunflowers in July, a sight I’ve never seen as I’ve not visited then. But I bet it’s magical, a field of yellow with all those flower heads leaning up to the sun. A true natural wonder.
That’s so beautifully timed, it’s gorgeous to see – like we’re peeping at something secret 🙂 x
Such a gorgeous set of photos. I love sunflowers.
What a fabulous set of photos, and the colour really does make you feel brighter, doesn’t it x #alphabetphoto
That’s a lovely set of photos – and fascinating to see how the petals unfurl. Great Y 🙂
What a beautiful set of photos to brighten up a dreary autumn. Wonderful Y!
Such lovely photos, I love the way you have captured the different stages of it unfurling.
It was wonderful to watch.
