Happy Monkey – a drinks review

Happy Monkey

With a name like Happy Monkey you just know that my Monkey had to try the 100% fruit Smoothies and Milkshakes from this company!

Happy Monkey

Happy Monkey started in 2009 producing 100% fruit smoothies, and in 2012 they added milkshakes to their range.  My Monkey got to try the various flavours – Orange and Mango and Strawberry and Banana Smoothies and Strawberry and Chocolate Milkshakes.

Happy Monkey

As Monkey is in Reception he gets free school dinners so I’m not able to provide these smoothies and milkshakes as part of a lunchbox meal.  (Worth noting though that the milkshakes are school approved, for older children)  They have been great when we’ve been on picnics and days out.  I took some away with us when we were on holiday last week and they didn’t last long.

Monkey’s absolute favourite Happy Monkey drink is the Strawberry and Banana Smoothie.

Happy Monkey

Both the Smoothies and Milkshakes from Happy Monkey contain no artificial colour or flavours and there are no added sugars or sweeteners in the smoothies either.

They’ve certainly been a big hit here and are available from all the leading supermarkets. The Smoothies come in packs of 4 x 180ml and the Milkshakes come in 3  x 200ml packs.

So if you are looking for a bit of lunchbox inspiration or for a handy sized drink to take on a day out, why not check out Happy Monkey!

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

A Mum with a 9 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure.
