The Christmas Farm

The Christmas Farm – Limited Edition puzzle from Ravensburger

I’ve loved jigsaw puzzles for as long as I can remember. I had all sorts of puzzles as a child and used to love watching my Mum puzzling on our dining table.  So there was no way I wasn’t going to love jigsaw puzzles as an adult.  I find that they are great way to unwind, you can get totally absorbed and leave your worries at bay for a little bit.  I was thrilled to receive a wonderful 1000 piece limited edition puzzle from Ravensburger recently.  The Christmas Farm is a perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.

The Christmas Farm

Ravensburger are a well known brand of great quality jigsaw puzzles and The Christmas Farm pieces use their softclick technology so there is no issue with poorly fitting pieces.

I have a portapuzzle storage board, so I can start a puzzle, pack up and carry on another day without taking up space on the kitchen or dining table.  I always start with the edges and then pick out some details I like to start working on the main puzzle.

Santa’s Sleigh and his lovely Vintage Blue Tractor seemed like the obvious places to start. The theme of The Christmas Farm is showing us what Santa might enjoy when he’s not delivering presents to one and all.  My son loves the idea that Father Christmas might own a farm AND a tractor!

The Christmas Farm is the 17th in Ravensburger’s series of Limited Edition Christmas Puzzles.

There are lots of details in this puzzle, created by illustrator Roy Trower, which I’ve really enjoyed discovering as I’ve progressed with The Christmas Farm.  The livery on the horses is just lovely and their reindeer antlers are so cute.

One of the things I love about jigsaw puzzles is being able to pick up from where I left off easily, even if I’ve been absent for a few evenings.  This puzzle has been really enjoyable to complete.  There’s so much going on within the jigsaw that’s there is never a dull moment.

I give The Christmas Farm a big thumbs up and retailing at around £11.99, its great value for money and would make a great present for someone this Christmas time.
