The B&W Photography Project Week 23 with PODCast, and I’m back to trains yet again! This one is a bit different though. We took Monkey to Didcot Railway Centre last Sunday for the Days Out with Thomas event. We went last year and he loved it, its perfect timing as a pre-birthday treat and he was so excited when I told him I’d got tickets for this year.
We had a great time, Monkey met Father Christmas and sat with him, he even high-fived him – the boy is growing up! We walked through one on the engine sheds and found a number of carriages being renovated.
You don’t really think about how the old carriages are made, do you? I love the skeleton effect to this photograph. I bet the finished carriage will look wonderful.
Love the skeleton of the carriage and looks so effective in black and white. Very different.
You can really see the structure of the train in black and white. What a fun visit.
What a fantastic photo, you’re right you never consider how they’re made at all. They’re just there 🙂 #bwphotoproject
