HEXBUG Aquabot 2.0

Monkey was introduced to the world of the HEXBUG Aquabots last year when reviewed the Zombie Aquabot – a great little glow in the dark shark that comes alive in water.  He was very lucky that his godmum bought him the HEXBUG Aquabot 2.0 Shark Tank.  It’s really great and Monkey loves it.  The set came with a Green Angel Fish, but Monkey is keen to add to his collection.  The shark tank is quite large and there was more than enough room for a new addition.

Welcome to the Blue Angel Fish HEXBUG Aquabot 2.0.  Was he brave enough to risk the shark infested waters?

The HEXBUG Aquabot 2.0 react to water, as soon as our new addition was added to the tank he was off, exploring his new environment.  He comes with LR44 batteries included and uses ‘smart fish’ technology which keeps him swimming around the tank for 5 minutes.  If you leave him alone he will just go to sleep, to wake him up you just tap the side of the tank or pick him up and replace in the water.  This does save the batteries and gives the poor fish a rest from an ever eager 5 year old Monkey!

The HEXBUG Aquabot 2.0 even has an LED glow – so more after dark fun.  With a cat in the house these are definitely our kind of fish.  Brewster is really fascinated by them but luckily the HEXBUG Aquabot 2.0 will survive to see another day!

Priced at £7.99 the HEXBUG Aquabot 2.0 are a great idea and we will continue to have lots of fun with them.
