I don’t know about you, but I grew up on the Tales of Beatrix Potter and fell in love with Peter Rabbit and his friends from an early age. When Monkey and I first discovered the animated series on TV I was a little dubious, would an old favourite be ruined? But no, we’ve loved watching the series and I just knew that the Peter Rabbit Tales of the Start of Spring DVD would go down really well here.
Peter Rabbit Tales of the Start of Spring DVD was released through Abbey Home Media on 30th March and features 8 different episodes, running for over 100 minutes. This is the first time that the animated series has been released on DVD and Monkey has had it on repeat since it arrived. It even went on holiday with us!
The episodes featured are:
The Tale of the Radish Robbers
The Tale of the Secret Treehouse
The Tale of the Start of Spring – this is a special 22 minute long episode
The Tale of the Dash in the Dark
The Tale of the Broken Bed
The Tale of Benjamin’s New Map
The Tale of the Terrible Trap
The Tale of the Peekaboo Rabbits
We follow Peter Rabbit and his buddies Benjamin Bunny and Lily Bobtail, along with little Cottontail as they try to outwit the likes of Mr Todd and Brock the Badger. The stories are enchanting and the animation is just lovely. As I’ve already said, we’re big fans of this series and the DVD hasn’t disappointed.
Monkey’s Easter was made when he got to see Peter Rabbit for himself at Blenheim Palace recently!
We can thoroughly recommend Peter Rabbit Tales of the Start of Spring DVD and it’s available from all good retailers – including Amazon (my affiliate link is shown below). To keep up to date with all of Peter’s adventures why not follow him on Facebook.
