The ChillFactor Drinks Bottle is available in pink and blue and is aimed at children aged 3 years and over. The bottle comes with clear instructions for cleaning, putting the bottle together and for making the cold drinks.
The components are easy to take apart and cleaned. We don’t have a dishwasher, but if you do, please note that the outer bottle casing (blue in this instance) and the cooling pack are hand washable only!
Once cleaned, you need to store the cooling pack, upright in your freezer for 4-6 hours. Yes, some forward planning is required, but as it’s recommended to store the pack in the freezer anyway, once you’ve got into the habit, it’s there for use anytime.
Once the required time has been left, reassemble the ChillFactor Drinks Bottle (without lid) and add your required drink (please note that carbonated drinks do not work with this system). Monkey loves Apple Juice so I filled the bottle up until the drink reached the holes in the cooling pack. Then you screw the lid back on and you will notice an instant colour change.
You then squeeze the bottle for 15 seconds to chill the drink, and you notice the bottle colour getting darker as the process takes place.
Your chilled drink is then ready! There are two options for drinking – either the straw or sip spout.
Then it was over to Monkey, he’d had a busy day at school, the sun was out and he was in need of a nice cool drink to refresh him.
He liked having an ice-cold drink and I can see this being really useful on a hit summers day when he’s been having fun in the garden. The downside to the ChillFactor Drinks Bottle in my opinion, is the size. My son is not a small 5 year old, but he found it really a bit too big for him, and it was the first point Daddy P made – wow, that’s big.
Priced at £12.99 the ChillFactor Drinks Bottle is available to purchase direct from the Character Online website and there is free delivery for orders over £25.00
