Fruit Heroes

Fruit Heroes

I’m always looking for new snack ideas for Monkey, especially ones that are ideal when we are travelling, whether in the car or by aeroplane.  We’ve been trying out Fruit Heroes over the last few weeks and they’ve been a big hit.

Fruit Heroes

Fruit Heroes offer a range of 4 different fruit snack bars which are ideal for kids on the go.  As soon as I saw them, I knew they’d be great for us, especially with a couple of flights in the offing.  The 20g bars are great to pack in a handbag or back pack and offer a mess free snack time solution.

Fruit Heroes

The Banana, Strawberry, Blackcurrant and Apple & Raspberry Fruit Heroes are made from natural ingredients and are even good for home baking apparently (I will have to try this out when we are back from our holiday as there are a number of recipes on the Fruit Heroes website). They contain no artificial colourings, or added sugars and each 20g bar contains 2g of fibre.  The bars are also gluten and dairy free.

Fruit Heroes

With the holiday season hast approaching I also feel that the Fruit Heroes would make an ideal travelling companion for kids.  I’ll be using them to help Monkey during take off and landing on our flights – helping him to keep chewing and stop those ears from popping!

Fruit Heroes

Monkey has liked all of the flavours of Fruit Heroes, although the Banana ones have been the most popular.

Priced at £1.99 for a pack of 5 x 20g bars, Fruit Heroes are available across the country in Tesco stores.

  1. These look lovely, as Im always looking for new lunch box snacks, I don’t mind the fruit ones as at least they are natural sugars. Will keep my eyes peeled for these, Thanks
