The B&W Photography Project Week 55

The B&W Photography Project Week 55 with PODCast and today I am looking at one of my favourite flowers.

The B&W Photography Project Week 55

I’ve been fascinated by Passiflora or Passion Flowers for as long as I can remember and wherever I’ve lived they’ve been growing in my garden.  I love the colour (ironic I know when this is a black and white photo post) but I also love the complex structure of the flower itself.  There is so much to admire and take in, just with one little flower.  Nature at its best.

What’s your favourite flower?

  1. That is a stunning flower, and I think the monochrome does it justice by allowing all of its component parts to be detailed and shown off. Amazing flower and great capture

  2. I think this really works in monochrome as the detail in the shot really comes across with such clarity
Great shot and a beautiful flower xx

  3. Simply stunning! And I too love their colour but some how it is easier to appreciate their intricate beauty in b and w #bwphotoproject

  4. And they only last for a day or so don’t they? I have one on my back wall of the house and it is glorious, although the flowers are so high up now that I don’t really get to enjoy them. Great shot.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
