Pamper treats for the New Year

Pamper treats for the New Year

One thing I’ve learnt over the holidays is that taking things at a slower pace is definitely the way forward and that looking after myself is also important.  In a number of ways I will be making time for myself and that includes some pamper treats for the New Year too.

I do like to soak in the bath so the team at treaclemoon treated me to their Sweet Blackberry Memories Bath and Shower gel recently.  One of a range of treaclemoon products made in the UK, I love the fragrance of this pampering treat.  I much prefer baths to showers and I can confirm that this does bubble up rather well and leaves my skin feeling lovely and smooth afterwards.  When using it in the shower it also lathers well. Priced at £2.99 the range can be found in Tesco and Waitrose.

I have rather a collection of perfumes on my dressing table.  Probably slightly less than when I would be regularly travelling through the airport duty-free lounges when I was working.  But I’m always looking for something new to add to my collection. The Library of Fragrance offer 101 different fragrances inspired by the world around us.  I was going to be spoilt for choice making a selection.

I was tempted by Gin & Tonic and Gingerbread fragrances but opted for Jasmine instead, as I could see that working well as a fragrance to be worn during the day.  We have Jasmine plants in the garden so the scent reminds me of warmer days ahead.  The fragrance holds well throughout the day, without being overpowering either. The 30ml bottles retail for £15.00 and can be found in Boots stores across the country.  I love the idea of Apple Blossom, Caribbean Sea and Dark Chocolate and I might have to put those to the test at some point.

Which fragrance would you select for some pamper treats for the New Year?
