On a dull and wet November day I headed down to London, and after walking in the rain I was in need of a pick me up. The BHS SS16 preview was just what the weatherman ordered. I was whisked off to sunnier climbs, warm days spent walking through the souks of Morocco and tranquil afternoons spent in an English country garden.
You all know that I’m always drawn to blues in any collection, and the BHS SS16 preview show wasn’t going to leave me disappointed. I scanned the shelves mentally sorting ideas for our summer vacation.
Here are some of my favourite items and patterns from the collection.
I mentioned being transported to the souks of Morocco earlier and here you can see why. Aren’t the colours wonderful, rich and spicy.
Returning to my love of all things blue and you can imagine how much I loved the Delphinium & Daffodil bedding and home goods range.
If you follow my Instagram feed you will know how much I love taking photos of flowers. But that love rarely transfers to clothing or homeware. But that all changed at the BHS SS16 preview when I turned round and spotted the Elsie Rose bedding range. It was love at first sight and I want this adorning my bed as soon as possible!
Everything shown should be available in store and online in the next month or two. What would be your favourite pick from the items showcased here?
