The B&W Photography Project Week 79

The B&W Photography Project Week 79 and this week I’m carrying on with the weekend theme of snow.  You might have noticed that I’ve changed the header of the blog again as I wasn’t happy with the stretched appearance of our Stowe shot.  I took the new shot at Salcey Forest last Sunday, and Monkey almost looks like Little Red Riding Hood in the original shot, wearing his red coat as he walks through the forest.

Today I’ve taken the colour out of the shot, today we’re in Narnia or some other winter wonderland.  A magical world of snow and ice.  I wonder how different this same pathway would look today.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

A Mum with a 9 year old son, enjoying life and having fun as my son travels through school life. We love to get outdoors whenever possible and make the most of the world around us. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.

  1. I love this shot because you really could be anywhere (well, almost) and the setting is so majestic making Monkey look so small!
I think your header really works too – the flash of red draws you attention; I think it really works.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
