Usborne Fingerprint Activities – Animals book

The kids have been back at school for a week, and before we know it Easter will be upon us.  I’ve always been a fan of Usborne Publishing, and we have lots of their books here, that I’ve bought over the last 6 years.  They’ve got some lovely new books which are just perfect to entertain children this Easter time.  One in particular caught my eye, the Usborne Fingerprint Activities – Animals book.

Usborne Fingerprint Activities - Animals book

Usborne Fingerprint Activities – Animals book is aimed at children aged 6 years and over, so perfect for Monkey.  The 64 page spiral bound book, comes complete with a multicoloured ink pad and instructions on how best to complete the various fingerprint animals.

From various bugs, to crabs and ducks, through to flamingoes, cats and squirrels, there are a really wide variety of fingerprint activities to complete.

Monkey even found some toadstools to make.  Each page has step by step instructions as well as including a few completed examples so Monkey easily understood what he needed to do.

The ink pad contains 7 brightly coloured washable inks, and there is a plastic lid to help preventing the inks from drying out.

The great thing about the Usborne Fingerprint Activities – Animals book is that the ink dries quickly and you can complete as many activities as you like in one go, or just complete a page and come back at a later date.  The colours are bright and engaging and there’s plenty of scope for imaginative designs.

Priced at £9.99, this really is a lovely activity book.  Usborne Publishing have also released The Easter Story and Easter Fun First Activity books suitable for children aged 3 years and over and for older children you can choose from titles including Children’s Chocolate Cookbook and 50 Easter Things to Make and Do.  Check out the whole collection on the Usborne Publishing website.
