Time and Tide Wait For No Man

Time and Tide Wait for No Man – CD Giveaway

I love listening to music and always enjoy discovering a new artist.  Recently I was approached and asked if I’d like to share my thoughts on the new Marcus Nand album, Time and Tide Wait for No Man.

Time and Tide Wait For No Man

The 12 track CD didn’t disappoint, in fact it’s right up my street.  Marcus Rand’s voice reminds me a lot of Seal, with a really lovely smooth tone to his voice.  You can watch his single, also titled Time and Tide Wait for No Man on this video, and then you’ll understand what I mean.

The choruses are catchy, and I’ve been humming along to the album ever since I first listened to it.  I’m a sucker for a good voice and a guitar, throw in a couple of tracks sung in Spanish, and Time and Tide Wait for No Man has been a constant companion over the last few weeks. It’s a rock and pop album with Spanish influences, easy listening and I’m certainly a fan.

Nand is originally from Merseyside but is now based in LA, working for the likes of Rod Stewart (another favourite of mine) and Mike Inez. He’s a singer songwriter as well as a talented session musician.

I can thoroughly recommend Time and Tide Wait for No Man to anyone who likes a good rock/pop feel with a strong guitar base.  You can keep up to date with Marcus Nand over on Twitter. The album is available as a CD or digital download for £7.99 – I’ve included my amazon Affiliate link for you below.

  1. Not sure, as tend to enjoy a variety of music. Do like the Carpenters whilst also like Dolly Parton etc, etc.

  2. What’s your favourite album of all time and why? . . . . . . Fleetwood Mac – Rumours . . . . . . it was probably the first album l enjoyed enough to actually buy a copy

  3. I don’t have one but all of Simon and Garfunkel’s albums are my fave. I grew up listing to them

  4. Gosh, that’s tricky. I would go for Glen Campbell’s ‘The Capitol Years’ because it includes most of his UK hits as well as others that weren’t hits but which I absolutely love, anyway.

  5. Probably ‘Abba – Gold’ hit after hit…they just keep coming and the melodies are awesome. x

  6. Arctic Monkeys – Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not.
I love how they sing like my friends talk, with lots of northern slang.

  7. Moby – Play Sorry the reason why is because I find it so relaxing & we played it almost constantly on holiday in Jamaica as we bought it at duty free on the way out.

  8. A Night at the Opera-Queen. My favourite group I never tire of listening to. I have them blasting out whenever I’m feeling down. This album never fails to lift my mood 🙂

  9. Simon & Garfunkel’s greatest hits a good friend bought it for me for my 18th birthday and I’ve loved ever since

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
