Getting colourful with Joe Browns #JBColourful

When a brand you love approaches you and gives you a challenge it’s hard to say no.   I’ve been getting colourful with Joe Browns and hoping for sunnier days ahead.  I reviewed for them way back in April 2014 and then again later that year with one of their tunic dresses. Over the last couple of years I’ve bought a number of items from the fashion company and love their bright, bold designs.

I’m planning ahead for days spent in the Portuguese sunshine in a couple of months, so getting colourful with Joe Browns has been very much with holidays in mind.  I few people have told me I really should wear red more often.  So I’m trying to incorporate the colour into new outfits where I can.  I decided the Mix It Up Jersey Tunic would be perfect for our summer adventures but could also be teamed up with leggings and boots for a fresh Spring look.

Notice my signature blue hasn’t disappeared!  There’s also a lovely mock wrap effect to this tunic top.  I’m really pleased with latest Joe Browns addition to my wardrobe and priced at £29.95 it’s a bargain too.

I think the Mix It Up Jersey Tunic works as well with leggings and flip-flops as it does with boots, making it a great all-rounder for me.  It’s a little shorter than the tunic dresses I normally wear but not too short to make me feel uncomfortable.  I do like a V neckline and with the red banding wrap over effect, it’s a flattering style.

It’s machine washable at 30 degrees, and having worn and washed a number items from the Joe Browns range, I know it will hold it’s shape well.  So come on sunshine!  We all want a bit more colour in our lives this Spring and Summer don’t we!

Check on Instagram between 6-9pm this evening with the #JBColourful for some more colourful inspiration featuring a range of clothing from the Joe Browns range.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum with an 8 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. 1. I think this is a company that I should have a look at, I tend to get stuck in my ways but I do live the colours and patterns in this top. It defiantly looks great and perfect for your holidays
