Bahlsen Pick Up! and Choco Leibniz biscuits

With a house full of chocoholics who are also rather partial to the odd biscuit or two, we were never going to refuse a recent delivery of Bahlsen Pick Up! and Choco Leibniz biscuits were we?!  Who would!  They are so much more than just biscuits you know.

The Bahlsen Pick Up! and Choco Leibniz biscuits have been a welcome addition to our cupboards over the Easter holidays.  The German company have been manufacturing biscuits since 1889, and they really do know their stuff.

The new Pick Up! range is great as they come individually wrapped in packs of 5, so ideal to pop into my handbag or ruck sack when we’ve been out and about on an adventure.

These new Pick Up! biscuits from Bahlsen are incredibly moreish.  There are 4 variations of filling, encased in a biscuit sandwich.  My personal favourite is the Choco & Caramel which has a milk chocolate and caramel filling, these didn’t last long at all and were closely followed by the Dark Chocolate variety.  Monkey has worked his way through the Milk Chocolate option, whilst Daddy P has enjoyed the Black ‘n White Pick Up! with chocolate flavoured biscuits encasing a slab of white chocolate.

For sharing at home the selection of Bahlsen Choco Leibniz have gone down very well when we’ve had friends over.  With a choice of 5 different options, these packs offer something for everyone.  From the butter biscuit Choco Leibniz with Orange, lightly flavoured and Daddy P’s favourite, to Monkey’s favourite with White Chocolate we’ve all enjoyed these biscuits with a little extra.  Each pack comes with 9 biscuits covered on one side with chocolate.  The White chocolate version has a cocoa flavoured biscuit, the others are all butter biscuits.

I should probably admit at this point that I didn’t actually share the Choco Leibniz Caramel biscuits with anyone – oops! I’m the dark chocolate fan of the household so it was a bit a surprise to become somewhat addicted to the milk chocolate option with added caramel, but boy are they nice!  Not that the dark chocolate version isn’t, because they are rather tasty too.  All in all these have been very well received by everyone.

You can find the Bahlsen Pick Up! and Choco Leibniz biscuits in all of the main supermarkets.

disclosure:  we were sent the items mentioned in exchange for an honest review

  1. Chocolate Leibniz are definitely NOT made for sharing. I easily handle 1 whole packet entirely by myself….
