Scruffs Vintage Zip Thru Fleece

Daddy P works very long hours and spends a lot of time working through the night.  He’s often to be found outside checking off deliveries or checking stock in his cold rooms.  So he really needs something to keep him warm but that still looks smart.  The Scruffs Vintage Zip Thru Fleece is just the ticket.

Being on the Rugby player side of sizing Daddy P needs an XXL fitting and the Scruffs Vintage Zip Thru Fleece fits perfectly.  The polyester/cotton mix material is hard-wearing, so ideal for a work environment, and the fleece lining has helped to keep him warm on chilly April nights at work.

The cuffs and waistband are both ribbed for added comfort, which has been a big plus for Daddy P, as he preferred that feature to the elasticated options available.

The Scruffs Vintage Zip Thru Fleece also has a concealed hood – you need to unzip it front and back (which does seem a little strange) but once unzipped you have a hood option too. He’s appreciated this when we’ve had frosty starts lately.

We all love blue in this house, so the Navy colour option was always going to be a winner, but the fleece is also available in Grey. This fleece is priced at £35.95 on the Scruffs website, which I think is great value for money.  We’ve been really impressed with the Scruffs Jacket that Daddy P got back in November and I’m sure that this fleece is going to be just as good.  For Daddy P to give something the big thumbs up, is rare, and with hands that size who is going to argue?!

Scruffs provide a range of workwear items which are not only practical but actually look good too.  It’s a range we are really glad we’ve discovered.

disclosure:  we were sent the item mentioned in exchange for an honest review

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum with an 8 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure.
