Pulsin Fruity Oaty Bars

Pulsin Fruity Oaty Bars – review and giveaway

Monkey has hollow legs, honestly this boy could eat for England, he’s quite a professional. I’m very lucky that he eats quite well at home, has his favourite vegetables and adores pretty much every fruit known to man, except oranges (like mother like son).  But coming up with new snack ideas to keep him fuelled from school pick up to dinner time can sometimes be a challenge.  He’s loved oaty style bags since his toddler days and I was interested to discover the Pulsin Fruity Oaty Bars recently which are designed with children aged 4-9 years in mind.

These Pulsin Fruity Oaty Bars are really great as they are made with a nut free recipe, as well as being gluten, dairy and soya free and also contain no artificial ingredients.

Pulsin Fruity Oaty Bars

Pulsin as a brand are well known for their nutritional bars for us grown ups, and the Fruity Oaty Bars are a new extension to the range to help children make good choices when it comes to snack time.

There are currently three flavours in the range: Strawberry, Blackcurrant & Apple and Orange Choc Chip, all come in packs of 6 x 25g bars priced at £2.99 from leading supermarkets and the Pulsin website.

Monkey wasn’t so keen on the Orange Choc Chip oaty bars, but his friends have really enjoyed trying this flavour.  The Strawberry and Blackcurrant & Apple options have gone down much better here.  The bars aren’t at all crumbly like others we’ve tried, so they make an ideal in-car snack with no mess, great with the holiday season approaching. These bars are also great for after school snacks, lunch boxes and to pop in handbags for family adventure days.

disclosure:  we were sent the items featured and a cool bag in exchange for this honest review.

  1. I love anything Cherry flavoured so I would like to se either Cherry & Choc Chip or Cherry & Coconut.

  2. Funny how strawberry and chocolate are always at the top of the list when sweet foods are created. For snacks – or breakfast – I do not buy the children anything with chocolate.

I would love to see something a little different such as banana and walnut, or just banana.

  3. ive just tried a yoghurt that was Peanut and Caramel and it was to die for, would love to put that into a handy bar!

  4. I’ve got 3 flavours. Apricot, Cherry & Walnut & PB & J (Peanut butter & strawberry)

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
