We’ve been fans of the Jim Arnosky books ever since we discovered the last year. I just added our fourth book to the collection, Creep and Flutter is really the perfect book for our family of bug hunters.
Published through Sterling Books and distributed in the UK by GMC Distribution, this paperback book is a wealth of information about all manner of mini beasts. From dragonflies and butterflies through to wasps, crickets and spiders we are treated to Jim Arnosky’s lovely illustrations as Creep and Flutter brings these wonderful little creatures to life.
There are wonderful fold out pages included within this book, and of course Monkey and I are both drawn to the butterflies and moths. Guru Gramps would be pleased!
We are big fans of this series, the facts are written in a way that makes them both interesting for children as well as easy for them to understand. The illustrations just bring the creatures to life.
For £5.99 I think this book is a bargain, and its found a good home on our book shelf. I can thoroughly recommend Creep and Flutter, along with Jim Arnosky’s other titles for any child interested in the natural world. I’ve included my Amazon affiliate link below for your information.
disclosure: we were sent the item mentioned in exchange for an honest review
