Project 366 2016 Week 47

Project 366 2016 Week 47 Day 325 – 331 from swallowed teeth to a flat tyre ruining our plans for today.

Sunday 20th November – Day 325

Project 366 2016 Week 47

I met up in Oxford for a catch up with Emma from Bubba Blue and Me and Kate from Dark Tea.  We had a lovely lunch at Ask, I enjoyed a great fish risotto.  My menfolk had been Christmas shopping.

At dinner time Monkey managed to swallow tooth number 5.  Cue tears, blood and a letter of explanation to the Tooth Fairy.  You can read all about it in my post from earlier in the week.

Monday 21st November – Day 326

project-366-2016-week-47-

It rained and rained and rained. None of us fancied being out in it.  Not even Brewster.

Monkey and I had both school walks in the rain followed by both Beavers walks.  He learned about different knots.

Tuesday 22nd November – Day 327

Project 366 2016 Week 47

The duvet robber had struck again with an early morning alarm call.  I was busy with work all day and Monkey had a good day at school.  I finally got round to using a 3D dinosaur cake mould I bought about a year ago – oops.  The T-Rex wouldn’t stand up, but the others all got the thumbs up from Monkey.

Wednesday 23rd November – Day 328

Project 366 2016 Week 47

I wasn’t needed in school so I spent the day wrapping presents and writing cards, looking at birthday cake ideas and generally trying to get ahead of the game.

Monkey came home to some cool new wellies, they seem a little harder to get on than normal wellies but hopefully they will be ok.  We now need a spare day to put them to the test!

I rigged up a makeshift studio in my bedroom and got Daddy P and Monkey to help me with my latest college assignment.  It was all a little too rushed but I got a few shots I’m quite pleased with.

Thursday 24th November – Day 329

Project 366 2016 Week 47

I had a busy day working and then we caught up with Granny and Gramps on Skype. Monkey was in a bit of a grump, even though he’d got full marks in a hard spelling test at school.

We had dinner and then I suggested Monkey got his homework out-of-the-way.  We’ve got a busy weekend ahead and lots going on next week.  He agreed (wow!) and a wrote a recipe up for Woolly Mammoth and Sabre Tooth Cat Soup for his Stone Age topic, and made a good start on his maths multiplication homework too.

Friday 25th November – Day 330

Project 366 2016 Week 47

Blue skies! Wanted to avoid the Black Friday traffic hell of Bicester Village I drove to college across country this morning.  Only a couple of us had completed the studio assignment and my tutor was happier with my shots than I was, which was a bonus.  We’ve got to get a few shots enlarged and mounted for an end of term display – eek.

The end of the week at school and Monkey finished off his maths work before he got down to some serious play time.

Saturday 26th November – Day 331

Project 366 2016 Week 47

Monkey and I were all ready to spend the say with my ex MIL, locked the house up, turned round and saw this.  Bugger.  Back in the house and a SOS call to see if Daddy P can help us.  Trying to think positively, so much better to have found this at home rather than it happening once we were on the motorway.

  1. Don’t worry about your shots for college. I think we’re all guilty of being a bit too critical of our own work. I know I’ve looked at some of mine and thought Meh…. but I see others posting photos I’d have deleted..

Oh dear a puncture.. at least it was at home AND it wasn’t raining!

  2. Argh I wouldn’t know what to do with the tyre situation! Lucky you spotted it at home. The weather has been awful – I could have done with those wellies on Monday!

  3. the puncture is a nuisance but as you say could have been worse.
Oh no at the swallowed tooth.
    The recipe sounds great.
A great picture of the cat shaking hands.
Nice that the tutor is happy with your work, think we are often our own worst critics.

I'd love to hear from you and try to reply to all comments
