We have a number of large ivy plants at the bottom of the garden. They provide a home to snails and somewhere for the birds to eat in the winter. For a brief period the plants produce ivy fruit – a little different from other fruits you imagine. The Wood Pigeons love them.
Incredible detail, the blooming pigeons around here love anything to eat

I’ve never seen this before and had no idea ivy did that, so fascinating. #mysundayphoto
What a wonderful photo! You have captured so much detail!
We have a fair amount of ivy locally also, and these are a common sight, but you’ve captured them so beautifully and in such detail.
They look like little tiny acorns!
