Gifts Hub launch two new personalised children’s books

You all know I’m a sucker for a good book, and my son has grown up surrounded by them.  I’ve read to him pretty much from birth and story time has always been a special time for us both.  Quiet time, to just be together and enjoy a good story.  We’ve read so many lovely books together over the last 7 years and as Gifts Hub launch two new personalised children’s books today, it brought back memories of a couple of classic stories.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle has become a classic since it was first published and this personalised version would make a lovely gift for any child. This version of the story, called Journey into the World, features personalisation with a child’s name being shown on the front cover, throughout the story and with a special message on the title page.  There’s also a luxury presentation option available when placing your order to include an embossed pastel gift box.

It’s going to make a lovely keepsake and something I’ll have to consider when my great-niece or nephew is born in September.

You all know that we’re steam train mad in this house, and the Rev W Awdry Thomas and Friends series has been a part of my life since my own childhood.  Even aged 7, my son loves these stories and I know he’ll be thrilled to see the new personalised version/  It’s based on the second book published in the Railway Series, which first saw Thomas the Tank Engine being introduced to the world at large.  The book also features family favourites such as Gordon, Henry and of course, The Fat Controller.  With this edition, you can personalise the book with a child’s name, which will show in the header banner on each page of the story as well as adding a message to the title page. Again there is a luxury presentation option to include an embossed pastel gift box.  What I love about this particular book is the use of the original illustrations I remember from my childhood.  This really is going to be a book to treasure.
