Luxury Towelling Dressing Gown from The Towel Shop

Luxury Towelling Dressing Gown from The Towel Shop

As a child, if I was poorly, I liked nothing better than to snuggle up under my Dad’s dressing gown.  It became a tradition if we needed a sofa day, that his dressing gown would keep me company.  These days I still like a dressing gown I can wrap myself in and my new Luxury Towelling Dressing Gown from The Towel Shop is my new best friend.

The Towel Shop have recently launched a range of luxury dressing gowns and I have been putting mine to the test over the coming weeks.  The dressing gowns are made from 100% cotton and well weighted, giving them a luxurious feel.

I opted for the Latte colour, but there are also Silver, Cream and White options available.  It’s worth noting that the luxury towelling dressing gown from The Towel Shop is only available in one size.  I’m normally a size 8/10 so it’s a large fit on me, but that doesn’t bother me as I like to feel engulfed by my dressing gowns.  I’ve just rolled the sleeves up and it’s perfect.

I like the length of this gown and the front pockets are a handy addition.  The gown is belted and also has a hood, which a new feature for me.

As you would expect, the luxury towelling dressing gown from The Towel Shop is machine washable, and comes up well after washing, with good quality stitching at the seams too.

My 7 year old son has told me that he wants to carry on the family dressing gown tradition and wants a sofa day soon wrapped in my new dressing gown!  I’m hoping he isn’t poorly any time soon, but I do like the idea of wrapping him up in a bit of luxury.

  1. I would choose the Silver – it’s a lovely colour which would go with any other colour.

  2. If I was lucky enough to win I would choose the white one because it would make me feel like I’m staying at a posh hotel! 🙂 x

  3. Looks very comfy! My wife would love it, maybe not at the moment in 30 degree heat! She’s love the cream one.

  4. I love the silver one it’s a colour that I’ve never had I always go for blue or black even brown so it would make a change

  5. The silver one as it’s not a colour I would normally go for (I’m more into dark bright colours)

  6. If you won this prize which colour would you choose and why? . . . . silver it looks so glam

  7. I’d love the silver one, just because I’ve never had a silver dressing gown before!

  8. i would choose cream, i think it is nicer than white, which shows up all sorts of dirt and grime!

  9. I would choose the cream colour as it would look good when hanging on the back of the bedroom door!

  10. I would choose the white, I just like the clean and fresh look of anything white! 🙂

  11. I’d choose white as it reminds me of lovely dressing gowns in hotel rooms and at a spa. With a toddler and a hyperactive terrier, I’m not sure how long it’d stay pristine for though!

  12. I’d pick silver as we have just redecorated our bedroom in grey so it would look good in the room

  13. I’d pick the blue one for my partner. She always steals mine and moans that most of the womens ones she gets are too fluffy!

  14. Grey Terry Towelling Dressing Gown for my newlywed, he only loves this colour so that would be fab x

  15. Probably cream – we’ve carried on the tradition from my parents of the women having the cream dressing gowns and the men having navy blue

  16. I’d pick the cream one. We’re going to redo our bathroom soon and I want to introduce some softer colours other than stark white so this would be lovely hanging on the back of the door – just a tinier bit more cosy.

  17. I like them all! I think I’d go for silver as it is unusual and I might not be able to keep white or cream as pristine as they deserve to be kept!

  18. Would love to win the silver one please it really does look soft and comfy, great for cuddling up on the sofa after a bath 🙂

  19. I would go for the cream. It’s just such a fresh colour & would go with my bedding!

  20. I’d definitely pick the Silver! it’s a really luxurious colour to go with a lovely luxurious gown!

  21. I like the cream. I like clean colours. mind won’t stay clean with my grand daughter lol

  22. I would choose silver a bit unusual for a dressing gown but I do love a bit of bling 😀

  23. Silver. With 2 small kids the white or cream would get ridiculously dirty very quickly and I prefer the silver to the latte

  24. i think i would go for the latte too! well its my favourite drink 😉 Looks gorgeous on you!!

  25. I’d love the silver dressing gown as it would go great with our bathroom colour scheme

  26. I would love the silver one as this would make a lovely birthday present for my mum who would love that colour. Thank you

  27. I would have to choose a silver one because I know my other half would wear it anytime my back was turned and at least silver would match his hair 😉

  28. I’d choose the silver one, looks like one that my other half could get away with stealing too!

  29. I would choose the Dark Blue for my husband , to replace the dressing gown he has had since his teenage years!

  30. In all honesty they are all lovely neutral colors but if I had to pick one it would be latte as it is a feature colour in our house.

  31. I would choose the latte colour, because I think it’s nice and less likely to show marks

  32. It would be the silver as it would go to my hubby who currently has a dressing gown which has so many holes i dont know hows its actually staying together!!

  33. White, because it’s totally impractical and exactly what I shouldn’t buy but would really love.

  34. I would choose silver because silver has always been a special colour for me, and it’s not too dark but not so light it shows all the dirt! These look lovely and cosy

  35. I would choose cream as it will match my bathroom when hung up in there, and I love the colour!

  36. I would choose the cream one for my wife she would love it and needs a new dressing gown so she stops stealing mine!

  37. I would go for the white robe as it looks clean, classic and luxurious at the same time.

  38. I would chose black 🙂 all my towels are black and red as Im a big fan of hair dye, tbh white ones is this house would be ruined in seconds!!

  39. I’d love to win and I would choose WHITE – so fresh and clean and perfect to jump into after a long bath! Thanks for a chance

  40. I’d go for latte. It’s a nice warm colour but won’t show marks if I slop my cup of tea on it 🙂

  41. I would love the silver colour, it would co-ordinate beautifully with so many colours and looks super snuggly and warm for the chilly nights!

  42. I would choose white because it’s a nice classic colour and I’m a clean freak so love the plain colours that I can easilly see any marks on

  43. i’d choose the silver – it matches with everything! And it looks so cosy! Perfect for lazy Sundays

  44. I would choose Silver as there is not a Blue option available which is my favourite colour!

  45. I would choose Cream please. I love a soft shade. I like white towels, but a white dressing gown reminds me of hospital, and I love Cream as it’s fresh and flattering for my skin tone.

  46. I would like cream because it is a colour that goes with everything, could match it up with all my nightdresses.
