Framing memories with Hello Canvas

Framing memories with Hello Canvas

When Mum and Dad were over from Spain during the half term holidays we took the time to celebrate their forthcoming Golden Wedding Anniversary with family.  With grandchildren in school, college and university, and a son who now works in Dublin during the week, getting together properly in mid June in either England or Spain wasn’t really a starter.  So we decided that a get together during half term here in the UK would work best.  Mum and Dad didn’t want any presents but did want a photo of us all together and photos of their four grandchildren together. So I’ve been busy lately sorting through the photos that we took during their trip and I’ve been framing memories with Hello Canvas.

Not only are Hello Canvas the largest UK website offering canvas prints, they also offer a range of framed print options.  This was exactly what I needed to start putting together a few prints for Mum and Dad and I was soon to be found decided on the print that worked best, as well as my framing options.

My niece’s boyfriend had been brilliant and taken a number of group photos of us all together when we met up for lunch in Birmingham, and I decided on the particular group photo I wanted.  Hello Canvas offer square or rectangular frames, clearly in this instance I would need to go with the rectangular option.

Once you’ve selected the photo you want to frame with Hello Canvas, there are a number of size options ranging from 10×8 inch through to 32×24 inch.  I was conscious that I was going to need to fit this surprise in my suitcase, so opted for the 24×16 inch size when framing memories with Hello Canvas.  I knew I definitely wanted my print to be mounted, so went with the passepartout option and opted for an oak frame. You can select from one of a number of print effects if you so wish, but I stuck with the full colour option with no filter.

Once you’ve made your selection you can see a preview of the finished article and make changes if needed.

I could see that as things stood some of our feet were going to be cut off when the framing was processed.  No problem – you can change your cropping options and leave instructions for Hello Canvas – I added a note to my order asking if the print could be adjusted with less trees and more feet!

The whole order process was easy and you can also request other edits, such as red-eye reduction (free) and black and white with colour highlight (£10) should you so wish. Framing memories with Hello Canvas was very easy to achieve. There are a number of different delivery options, with standard delivery being £4.95.

My order was delivered promptly and was well packaged.  I’ll be taking the framed print out to Spain with me in a couple of weeks and know it will be safe in my case with the packaging provided.

It’s always appreciated when framed prints are supplied with hanging kits, and with Hello Canvas, this is included in the price and already mounted for you.  Dad, you can thank me later.

The frame itself is well made and overall I’m really thrilled with the results. The photographic print quality is also really good.  I hope Mum and Dad will be as thrilled that I’ve been framing memories with Hello Canvas for them.

Our framed print cost £49, and I’m really pleased with the results.  I’d certainly recommend Hello Canvas if you are looking to frame your own memories.
