Getting organised with the Doodle Collection – review and giveaway

I’m not a great one for gadgets as people who know me well will tell you.  I can’t ever see my turned away from a trusty paperback or my yearly paper diary.  I’m never to be found without either.  So it will come as no surprise that I’m a paper list kind of girl too. I was in need of a new notebook and I’ve been getting organised with the Doodle Collection.

As Monkey and I are due to fly out to Spain next week I also wanted something he could use to keep him entertained on the journey.  Getting organised with the Doodle Collection solved both issues.  I knew he’d love the Kids Scribble Pad and would like the carry handle.

With 104 blank pages, he can draw to his heart’s content when we’re on our trip, the pages can be torn off, so he can also leave some of his masterpieces with Granny and Gramps, when we fly back.

It wasn’t long until he set to work creating his latest artwork.  Apparently it’s so last year to only use one colouring pencil at a time.

It’s really handy that the sketch pad comes with a rigid card backing, making it easy to draw and write on the go, it’s perfect for my buddy artist as we enjoy our adventures over the summer holidays.

For myself, getting organised with the Doodle Collection meant a new notebook and you all know which colour cover I would be instantly drawn to don’t you? Yes, my trademark blue won through again. In fact the Doodle Social Icons Diary Notebook is perfect for me in every way, don’t you think?

As this will be my blogging to do list notebook, it just seems perfect.  It’s A5 size with 200 ruled pages, which is a great size for me to have on my desk or in my handbag when I’m out and about.

The pages are also perforated, so I can remove them as the contents are no longer relevant.  The notebook is well-bound and I’ve been impressed with the quality too.

About Over 40 and a Mum to One

I'm a Mum in my late 40′s with an 8 year old son. I had a busy life in Export Sales before my Monkey came along, but decided to become a stay at home Mum once he arrived. Now I enjoy writing my own family lifestyle and travel blog. sharing the adventures that we have as Monkey makes his journey through school. We have a cat called Brewster who makes appearances and I’m a mad Ferrari Formula 1 fan, so that expect to hear about as each season unfolds. We love reviewing days out, toys, games and books and would love the opportunity to look at anything that fits in with our family lifestyle. We are always out and about and offering an insight on the places we visit, with a passion for nature thrown in for good measure. If you like what you read please leave me a comment, I love to hear from people, and always try to reply. Enjoy the read.
