I’ve always tried to be careful what snacks my son has had, and we’ve been big fans of the Organix range since he was a baby. He’ll be 8 in December but he still loves their soft oaty bars. Would he be persuaded to move on to the Punk’d snack bars from Organix which are aimed at children aged 5-11 years? I really wasn’t sure, as he loves his oaty bars so much.
Punk’d snack bars from Organix were launched last year and are now available in Asda. They come in two flavours, Cocoa & Orange Crash and Strawberry & Vanilla Smash and although designed with older children in mind, they still have the Organix No Junk Promise too. If you’re not familiar with the promise, it basically means that all of their ingredients are organic, their products contain no artificial sweeteners, no added salt, and no artificial colourings or flavourings.
The Cocoa and Orange Oaty Bars contain a blend of organic wholegrain oats, sultanas, apple juice, cocoa and orange oil, while the Strawberry and Vanilla Oaty Bars contain a blend of organic wholegrain oats with sultanas, apple and strawberry juice, and vanilla extract. Each bar is individually wrapped and sold in boxes of 6 23g bars with a RRP of £2.00.
So what’s been the verdict on the Punk’d snack bars from Organix here? Monkey’s given both flavours the thumbs up, although the Strawberry and Vanilla is his favourite.
I’m so pleased that he’s a fan and I’ll be stocking him stack jar up with more of these bars soon. They’ve certainly kept him happy over the last couple of weeks.
disclosure: we were sent the items mentioned in exchange for an honest review.
