Back to school with Smiggle

It’s hard to believe that the school holidays are drawing to a close.  I’m going to miss my buddy when he starts in Year Three.  But I know he’ll have something to make him smile as he goes back to school with Smiggle.  Originating from Australia, Smiggle offer a range of products that are bright, with bold and fun graphics and some of them even smell sweetly! Whether your kids are looking for backpacks or pencil cases, water bottles or stationery items, there’s something for all to enjoy.

I love seeing my 7 year old son wearing lovely bright colours, and having accessories to match has gone down well with both of us.  The products are just that little bit different.

The Robot Silicone drinks bottle has been an instant hit with its novel design.  To my mind it could do with being a little smaller really, as once filled it’s too big to fit in the side pockets for my son’s backpack.

But he loves it, so what do I know.  The 700ml bottle is non slip, BPA free and can be rolled up when not in use.  It comes with a carry strap and carabiner clip too.  We’ve had no issues with leaks so far, and the bottle is so distinctive that going back to school with Smiggle means his water bottle will stand out from others in his class.

We’ve both been really impressed with his Smiggle Says Backpack, the quality is first class.  It features a number of zipped compartments, has a name panel and padded shoulder straps for comfort.

It’s a great size and we’ve used this backpack a lot already during the summer when we’ve been out and about on our adventures.  I know it’s going to be well used, it’s a shame there isn’t any reflective strips included in the design, but otherwise we give this a big thumbs up.

Going back to school with Smiggle couldn’t be easier and if you’re looking for something colourful to help your kids stand out from the crowd, then I can definitely recommend taking a look at their range.  Check out the Smiggle website to find your nearest store, although you can also buy online too.

We did also receive a Camo watch, but I still can’t work out how to set it, the instructions don’t appear to be correct, and even after watching a number of Youtube videos from other people that have also struggled with Smiggle watches, I’m still no further forward.  The next time I can go to our nearest store I’ll be taking it with me to get them to do it for me!

disclosure:  we were sent the items mentioned in exchange for an honest review
