Project 365 2017 Week 39 Day 267 – 273

Sunday 24th September – Day 267

Project 365 2017 Week 39

We spent the day at Silverstone enjoying the Ferrari Racing Days event.  The sun even shone.  There were all manner of road car Ferrari’s that I spent the day ogling.  We watched the racing which included demonstrations of previous F1 Ferrari models.  The highlight of the day was when the three of us were invited into the F1 garage.  It was a moment to remember for a lifetime for all of us.

Monday 25th September – Day 268

Project 365 2017 Week 39

Monkey had a great swimming lesson with school and he literally ran to Beavers after dinner.  He came out with a new badge and will be made a Lodge Leader in the next couple of weeks.

Tuesday 26th September – Day 269

Project 365 2017 Week 39

A full on working day for me as I tried to get ahead of the game a bit with posts. Not totally successful but at least I don’t feel like I’m drowning now.  Got to take some photos of some flowers I’d been sent for review.  Do love the thistles.

Wednesday 27th September – Day 270

Project 365 2017 Week 39

I seem to have spent the whole day sorting through Monkey’s toys, games and books that need to find new homes.  Listing things on Facebook selling sites and praying that people who say they are collecting, actually do.  Really need to clear some space ahead of December and the double birthday/Christmas whammy.

After school we headed to the park, but Monkey doesn’t like it there once the whole school arrives, so it was a short but sweet trip before we headed home for dinner.

Experienced my first online shopping order delivery, arrived dead on 6pm and was impressed with the service.  Only did it as I needed a few specific items for a review, not sure I’ll do it again, but it was nice to only have to move everything once.

Thursday 28th September – Day 271

Project 365 2017 Week 39

It rained all night I think and I captured this in my garden when I got home from the school walk.

Back to college for me as I started Year 2 of my photography class.  It was lovely to catch up with friends, some have moved to the evening class as this one is now on a Thursday morning rather than Friday, so a much smaller class this year.  This week we’re looking at spot metering and exposure compensation.  I managed to get some of the homework done as soon as I got home and need a model to finish it over the weekend hopefully.

It was a lovely day and a total change from yesterday.  After dinner Monkey said he wanted to go for a walk or discover the one local blue line walk we hadn’t done.  So off we set on an adventure as we completed another 5k walk around a different part of town.  It wasn’t the most scenic route but it certainly sent Monkey straight off to sleep when we got home.

Friday 29th September – Day 272

Project 365 2017 Week 39

Back to rain, chilly and grey days then.  So out into the garden to snap my lovely passion-flower, which seems to have flowered for months this year.  I shall miss its colour when it finally gives in for the year.

A change of routine for me as I start working all day on Friday with blog work, with the change of college days.  Daddy P was promptly evicted from the sofa and marched off to bed first thing so I could work in the living room without the accompanying snoring for the day.

Saturday 30th September – Day 273

Project 365 2017 Week 39

I got to meet my great-niece for the first time as my niece and her partner came over to see us at my ex-MIL while we were there for the day.  I got to have lots of cuddles while Monkey played with the vintage Lego.  After little Miss A had her lunchtime feed she had a nap and we all went out for lunch together.  While my niece and her partner sorted Miss A out after lunch, Monkey, my ex MIL and I popped to the park so he could have a run around.

Really nice to read Monkey is coming on in leaps and bounds with his confidence and his out of the house stuff. Your patience has paid off well.
