I do love fresh flowers but since I had my son, I just don’t buy them often enough. I really should change that, now he’s at an age where I don’t need to worry about broken vases and pretty petals being to easy to pull off. The joys of toddler days are behind me and now my son is back at school I needed a bit of a pick me up. I’ve been brightening up dull days with Prestige Flowers. I’m also back at college now doing my photography course, still life is being covered again this year, so I can see fresh flowers playing a vital part in my homework soon.
The online florist Prestige Flowers, offer a range of bouquets for all occasions, from birthdays, anniversary’s to new baby celebrations. If you order before 9pm at night your flowers will be delivered the next day. Not only can you surprise friends and family in the UK, but Prestige Flowers can also arrange deliveries overseas.
My delivery arrived securely boxed and had been left with my neighbour whilst I was out for the day. I was a little worried the flowers might have wilted, but they’d been shipped with their stems in special packaging to ensure they were watered in transit. The delivery came with clear care instructions for the bouquet, plant food and I also received a glass vase (charged at £5.99) to hold my bouquet.
Brightening up dull days with Prestige Flowers was going to be a surprise for me as I had no idea what my bouquet would include when it arrived. There are three sizes of bouquet available across the range of Prestige Flowers bouquets, standard, medium (extra £5) and large (extra £10). I think it would be great if the website were a little clearer as the actual difference of each size of bouquet. I don’t know which size I received, but I can tell you there were 10 white roses, 10 freesia stems, 10 blue iris stem, as well as some thistles and tiny daisies, included in my delivery.
In fact I didn’t notice the freesias to start with as they were tightly budded, but they’ve added a lovely scent to the bouquet since they’ve bloomed.
I do like the idea of being able to send a vase along with a flower delivery, it certainly makes life easier when you receive a bouquet to have the perfectly sized vase at hand.
The little daisies started to wilt quick quickly after my delivery and the iris heads started to go over after 6 days, but the roses and freesias have lasted well. I’ve been changing the water every couple of days and have trimmed the stems too to try to keep brightening up dull days with Prestige Flowers for as long as possible.
