Looking down – My Sunday Photo 210118
I’m really not a fan of January and the sooner we are firmly in February and snowdrops domain the better. I’ve realised that I haven’t used my DSLR at all this month so far, but as I started back with my photography course this week, that will all change.
Whilst not feeling particularly inspired lately, I do love a staircase, even if it’s only in our local multi story car park. Unusual to have it all to myself too. It may not be pretty, but I do like the structure.
Love this, looking down stairwells always fascinates me #MySundayPhoto
Me too
Nice repeating patterns, have you tried it in B&W? I think it would look even better! 🙂

Yes you’re probably right, I never think to convert shots
Who would have thought a multi story car park staircase could look so interesting? I’ve pretty much given up on my DSLR lately as my phone seems to take such good photos!
I know I was surprised
It does make a great photo and it looks very clean for a car park! I remember seeing the one like this in University Halls and being intrigued to see it was netted like a kids play area on every level, then I realised it was to prevent any suicide attempts which was rather more sobering than kids soft play!
Oh blimey!
I feel exactly the same, today will be the first time I’ve used my dSLR this year
Thank you for linking up

Such a lovely staircase, it’s striking x
I love photos like this. It is something normal and every day but looks fantastic x
Hi Mary, January is very much a bleuugh month. It is hard to find inspiration for taking photos. I’m getting giddy just looking at your photo.
xx
I’m glad I’m not alone in thinking so. Roll on Feb!
Staircases can be enormous fun to photograph. Great job. It’s eyecatching!
