A different take on an Easter treat with Wentworth Wooden Puzzles

It’s no secret that I do enjoy jigsaw puzzles, it’s a hobby that I share with both my Mum and my son.  I’ve always found puzzles are a great way to unwind and de-stress, and that’s never been more true since becoming a mum myself.  I’m always up for a new challenge and like things that are a little different so I’ve taken a different take on an Easter treat with Wentworth Wooden Puzzles this year.  I first discovered their range of wooden jigsaw puzzles a few years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since.

A different take on an Easter treat with Wentworth Wooden Puzzles for me still involves chocolate, but in a way that won’t affect my waistline!  I quite fancied trying the All You Need is Chocolate jigsaw puzzle, and I recently received the 250 piece version.  It’s also available with 500 and 1000 pieces for an extra special treat.  There’s something about wooden jigsaw puzzles that just makes them just that bit more special and the Wentworth Wooden Puzzles are all supplied with a draw string bag to project the pieces.

There are a whole range of Easter themed puzzles available this year, from ones with lots of overlapping Easter Eggs through to the 25 piece Hard Day with the Easter Bunny puzzle which comes in a lovely red cracker presentation box, making them ideal alternative Easter jigsaw puzzle gifts for children. I do like the ideal of a different take on an Easter treat with Wentworth Wooden Puzzles don’t you?

I’ve you’ve not come across Wentworth Wooden Puzzles before then it’s worth noting a couple of things.  Firstly, their puzzle pieces are all irregular shapes, there’s the challenge. Secondly, within the puzzle pieces you always find some whimsy pieces which are unique to the range.

These puzzles really turn the rules of jigsaws on their head as it’s often rather hard to start with the outline, and edges aren’t always what they seem.

So I tend to pick on lettering or stand out features and build up the jigsaw puzzle from there.  It adds a different element to these puzzles and it’s always interesting to find the whimsys and see where they will fit into the puzzle as I progress.

I also really like the vintage posters that have been used to base this particular puzzle on.  Some with brands that I know well and others that are new to me.  It’s been a joy to complete.
