Underneath the Arches – My Sunday Photo 080418
When we were in London earlier in the week, we made a quick stop at Paddington Station before heading home. My train mad son is ticking off all the major train stations in London and this is one neither of us had been to (I’ll now be corrected by my parents! But I can’t remember it if I did as a child). My son was in GWR and Brunel heaven whilst I marvelled over the architecture of the building itself. It’s really rather stunning.
Great shot of the arches!
I always find railway arches so fascinating and very beautiful – such great architecture. A great capture. #MySundayPhoto
I love a grand train station! We saw a steam engine getting ready to pull the Orient Express at Victoria yesterday it was just there on the next platform when out train pulled in
I love the design of this station, reminds me a lot of Brighton station
Thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
It’s beautiful isn’t it
I’m always so focused on being on the right platform I never think to look up, it’s rather beautiful
Such a beautiful roof, I love Kings Cross too (the one in Milan that I caught a train at yesterday is stunning as well!) 🙂 #sundayphoto
Love the artistic look to the station #MySundayPhoto
