Mummy and Me – April 2018
My idea has been to take at least one photo a week, every week of the year of my son and I together.
We started the first full week of the Easter holidays in style with a day in London. We were invited to an event inside The Shard and my son loved looking down on the London landmarks he knows and seeing all the train lines. He was a very happy boy that day.
We also found a furry friend at Paddington Station.
The week ended with our first Vietnamese meal in Oxford, another success.
We went away for a few days to celebrate my 50th birthday. We ended up in North Wales on the day itself and walked along the town walls surrounding Conwy.
Before ending the day on the beach outside Llandudno, it wasn’t bikini weather!
The next day involved a steam train ride in the Welsh mountains, you just had to guess where they were. The weather didn’t stop us having fun.
The sun did finally come out for one day and we made the most of it, starting the day at Bodnant Gardens,
and ending it on Snowdon.
Back to school and back to a selfie effort for the week. But at least we have had some sunshine to enjoy.
Another school week and another selfie – mad eyes are apparently the way forward.
