As you all are probably aware, we do like our days out here, and can often be found at weekends wandering around the grounds of a grand mansion. I was contacted by Ravensburger recently about their new Days Out range of jigsaw puzzles, my attention was immediately captured and I knew I was the perfect person to complete the first puzzle in the collection. Let me introduce you to The Stately Home 1000 piece puzzle from Ravensburger, which is aimed at older children and adults.
The Stately Home 1000 piece puzzle from Ravensburger features an illustration by Andy Walker showcasing some of the things you might enjoy on a typical trip to a British Stately home. It certainly resonates with me and the various trips we’ve made over the years, since my son was born.
Who doesn’t enjoy a picnic in picturesque grounds? Especially when the weather is as lovely as it’s been lately.
There are lots of lovely details to puzzle together in the The Stately Home 1000 piece puzzle from Ravensburger, and being a family of vintage car lovers, there is much to admire.
As I’ve mentioned in previous Ravensburger puzzle reviews, the pieces are made from good quality thick card and they fit together easily using their softclick technology.
We don’t go kite flying enough really, and I think both my son and I would quite like to own the kite flying in this jigsaw puzzle scene. I got to enjoy the Red Arrows display recently at the British Grand Prix and with the 100 years celebrations of the RAF taking place this month, it seems rather apt that a display team are also shown in the illustration.
I’m not sure you’d get me in a rowing boat any time soon but on a hot summer’s day I’m sure it’s a popular choice for others to enjoy.
My son loves to look for butterflies on our days out and there are a few to enjoy in this scene.
It’s been a joy to complete, with lots of colour, interest and details to keep a puzzler happy.
I’ve included my Amazon Affiliate link below for your reference in case you fancy trying this jigsaw yourself. I’m already looking forward to seeing what the theme of the next puzzle in the series will be.
